We recommend flying into Ontario International Airport, located just 25 miles west of the University of Redlands. Ontario International Airport is serviced by most major airlines and offers convenient access to Southern California’s Inland Empire.
Los Angeles International Airport is located 80 miles west of the University. While it may offer more flight options, the ground transportation time between LAX and campus can be substantial and is dependent upon rush hours and traffic. If you do decide to fly into LAX, please allow for 2-4 hours of travel time to reach Redlands.
Both airports offer rental cars through a variety of national chains.

University of Redlands is located in the City of Redlands off the I-10 freeway, 90 minutes east of Los Angeles and 40 minutes west of Palm Springs. If you are traveling during peak commuting times (7-9 a.m.; 4-6 p.m.), a 60-mile drive on Interstate 10 or adjoining freeways can take up to two hours. Keep traffic in mind when scheduling your visit to the University or return flights.
For your convenience, a shuttle will run daily at selected times between the hotel and campus.
Parking on campus is free. Please see our campus map for the location of convenient parking lots.
